Neighbourhood
Having lived almost two months in Gothenburg, I figured I have not posted any pictures of our new house. Built in the mid-1960’s, the house is one of three brutalist residential houses that truly stand out in the surrounding neighbourhood, a bit like the Barbican Estate does in London.
A bit further along Danska Vägen, almost opposite to Lejonet & Björnen, is Café 77 where Anna and I had lunch yesterday, and about two kilometres from our doorstep, the large green swaths of Skatås and Delsjön await.
With bus 60 taking me to Gothenburg railway station every morning in about ten minutes, commuting from here is super convenient. Though our current contract expires at the end of May next year, it feels like we have already made this part of Gothenburg our home with William’s school being literally next door. As such, we will try our best to stay in the area going forward.
