Speedcross

Deep in the wardrobe, I found my signature Speedcross 5 “high risk red” that have been waiting there ever since September and last year’s Umåker. Running with Elin, who was fresh off a 1:35 half marathon PR in Gothenburg on Saturday and Blodomloppet 5k on Tuesday, we decided to take it slow and safe for this year's edition, especially as Elin has Stockholm Marathon and I have Björnfrossa coming up within the next couple of weeks. In the end, Elin and I ran seven minutes slower than last year.

Nevertheless, we had an amazing time out on the trails, in no small part thanks to some unexpected crowd support by Elias and his two boys. As tradition has it, Andreas was also out on the trail with his camera, and like in the past, he took some pretty cool shots.
