Summer trails
There is something with the smell of the pine forest here in VĂ€sterbotten that immediately makes me think of trail running, of early mornings and long summer afternoons when I have been running with Elin or alone through these forests, chasing CRs or just adding kilometres to kilometres.
Today, I went
out for a first longer run along the dog sled trail where I was surprised to
find so much snow and ice in the forest.
Likewise, passing
through the bogland, the water was freezing cold. Still, the run had a definite
summerly feel to it, including going into the water at Nydala beach afterwards to
clean up my legs a bit.
