One too many

As both Anna’s parents came along to Norway, we are one too many in the car, so Anna had to take the train to Narvik and a bus to Harstad yesterday. And today, Anna and I went for a 17-kilometre morning run to the parking lot where we were all united for a family hike up Mount Keipen. As we climbed up to the peak, the light rain stopped and suddenly we could see the entire fjord below.

Though these kinds of places always make you slightly nervous as a parent, I guess risk is relative and that one should rather appreciate the fact that the kids find the presence of a TV set (which we do not have at home) to be one of the most exciting aspects of this trip :-)
