Trollsjön
With the kids being a bit older, it is finally possible to go for some longer mountain hikes, and today we drove the 120 kilometres up to Låktatjåkka to explore Trollsjön together. Hiking about 5.5 kilometres on slightly technical trails with about 400 meters of elevation gain we made it up to Trollsjön, famous for its crystal clear water.
Though the weather forecast talked about rain, we had sun throughout the hike but, unfortunately it was a bit windy, so the lake was not entirely calm and transparent. Still, I was seriously tempted to go for a swim but, with two kids, time is not always on one’s side, so we decided to hike back in time for their dinner.
