Back to Pöl Harbour
Due to its restrictive opening hours, it took me until June before I was once again able to jump into the waters of the “Pöl Harbour” outdoor pool in Frihamnen. Suprised by how cold the water was, I only swam for fifty ice-cold meters under dark skies. Yet, a few moments later, the sun returned, making the harbour area seem almost tropical.
Otherwise, today has been all about marking IR exams and packing for my night train journey to the High North. Sadly, SJ just informed me that my sleeping car has been replaced by a couchette car, so I will probably get a little less sleep on my 12-hour journey up to Umeå.
