Autumn storm
After many weeks of sunshine, Sorrento woke up to blustery winds and dark skies this morning. Luckily, we were able to squeeze in one last walk to the port before taking the narrow gauge Circumvesuviana train through the thunderstorm. Once in Naples, we were once again lucky and managed to go for a walk through its world heritage old town without getting soaked. At “Pizzeria Fortuna” we then got to eat the best and most affordable pizza on our trip, but what else to expect from the city where modern pizza was invented?
Now on the train up to Rome, having just passed Gaeta, I am marking exams and preparing myself for what will be an extremely busy week in Umeå.
