Frecciarossa

Waking up to a text message informing us that our original train would not leave Milano Centrale as scheduled, we took our chances and jumped on an earlier Frecciarossa down to Naples. The views along the high-speed line were truly incredible and you really do not feel like you are travelling in 250 km per hour. The only noticeable downgrade compared to the past is that the restaurant car is no more which makes me kind of sad when I think of all the fantastic meals that I have had in the past aboard Italian trains.
