While Sofi and I are heading south to Alentejo and the Costa Vicentina where my 57k trail ultra will take place next Sunday, I stumbled upon a can from Tejo today which is located about 100 kilometres in the opposite direction from Lisbon. 

Making Bolognese to keep the kids happy, it is Friday evening, and I can look back on an intensive week which culminated yesterday with a full day of teaching quantitative methodology for the first time in my life. Contrary to my fears, it all went really well, and the students seemed to genuinely appreciate not having a math wizard but rather a fallible human being as their teacher.
