With Rio feeling particularly distant on this the darkest day of the year, I made it back to USM for one final all-out treadmill run of 2022. Though I had originally planned to repeat my “under 20 before 2020” from December 2019, I decided to continue for one more kilometre even as I fell short of maintaining a sub 4 min/km pace. Tomorrow afternoon we are travelling deeper into the winter as we are heading up to Luleå with Norrtåg.
