Back to the light

After five days above the Arctic Circle, it is time for Anna and me to take the train back to Umeå so that we can finally move in at Historiegränd. Travelling south, the light returned just as the train made a stop in Nattavaara, a station which has become slightly famous here on Rawls & Me over the years.

Having left the kids with the grandparents in Kiruna, we will be back in Kiruna first on New Year’s Eve, having stopped for one night in Skellefteå at the 18-storey Wood Hotel which has been listed as one of the “World’s Greatest Places in 2022” by Time Magazine.
