Post-pandemic

After all that has been, life has finally returned to the great cities of Europe. Though face masks are still a thing here and there, and compulsory when taking a taxi for instance, it is difficult to imagine that, not so long ago, all these cafés and bars were closed and the country in lockdown.

Now at Barajas, we have fully stocked up on sunshine and memories, much like back in 2017. As a finale of sorts, I went for five fast kilometres this morning through the floral scent of the Retiro Park, running up the hill as I was blinded by the glowing rising sun.
